welcome! this video shows how to change / replace a broken computer laptop screen. this instruction is brought to you by laptop screen online. for more information visit us at http://www.laptopscreenonline.com. first is to remove the battery. it is very important that the laptop battery is removed before starting the screen replacement. in this video we have used toshiba satellite pro laptop but this instruction can also be used for notebooks like acer, dell, asus, sony vaio, fujitsu siemens, advent, samsung and many others. follow the replacement instructions carefully. remove the plastic or rubber cover to expose the screws in the framing. do this on all the parts where you have the screws only. remove screws holding down the framing and keep them seperately. carefully place your fingers between the lcd screen and the framing and pull slightly to release the frame. this is to be done carefully to avoid breaking or snapping the frame. follow instructions and remove screws holding the bezel. doing this will give space for the a proper screen removal. remove screws from the both arms holding the screen to the laptop. the electronic board at the bottom of the lcd screen is called the inverter. this provides the screen lighting tube with power and brightness. if the inverter is damaged the laptop computer screen will display windows without brightness.
carefully remove the ccfl wire from the inverter. this wires may come in different colours depending on the resolution of the screen. please note that in some laptops you will have led screens and they will not come with inverter as they are led and do not need inveters. the cable behind the screen is lcd screen cable. carefully peel up the tape holding it to the screen and pull the cable carefully to remove it. some of the cable connectors may come with clips whereby you will need to hold down to release the connection. the screen removal process is now complete. to fit a new screen repeat the whole process in reverse. the video continues.
