hi everyone! welcome to the unboxing of the micromax a27 it's a budget android device available for around rs. 3500/- on the top you can see micromax has decided to label its new feature swipe & share and on the left also you can see that the same feature is highlighted we'll look into the new feature later on on the top you have some informationregarding the imei numbers of both the sim cards that the phone can use
on the back we have informationregarding the device it is powered by a 1ghz processor, running android 2.3.5 with a 3.5-inch hvga (320 x 480) display on the bottom we have some more information which is of no use to us okay so let's move on with the unboxing and we'll try to pry open this plastic cover
okay, so here we go. let's remove the plastic covering first of all alright so let's open the packet it's a very different kind of packagingfrom micromax it doesn't look that elegant as it used to be for the other devices we'll its a budget phone after all okay so here we have the phone first of all we'll take that aside and check the other things that are in the packet so here we have
the support guides your warranty information and the user guide let's put that aside lets check what we have inside thebox, it's a usb charger which uses your data cable then we have the battery its a 1400 mah battery then we have
your hand-free kit its a pretty plasticky hands-free kit, not very good probably then we have your usb charging and data-syncing cable alright so let's put everything together that wehave got in the box first its the microusb data-syncing and charging cable the hands-free kit the main handset
your usb charger and the battery okay so we'll remove everything and focus on the device at hand lets remove the plastic cover okay, so here is the micromax a27 it has a 3.5-inch hvga (320 x 480) display and a very nice matte finished, textured back-cover it seems rubber but its actually a very good quality plastic, it seems its nice to hold in the hand and it seems very firm as well, on the top
we have the power button and the 3.5mm headphone jack on the left hand side we have the volume rocker the volume rocker is pretty sturdy doesn't make any clicking noises on the right of the device, it'sabsolutely flush with just a small tid to open the back-cover, on the bottom we have the micro-usb data syncing port let's have a look inside again the cover seems pretty sturdy, its all plastic but doesn't matter, it's pretty good, in-fact
on the inside we have a compartment forthe battery the two sim cards and the microsd card slot then there's the speaker grill and the vga camera okay, lets take out the battery and try to power on the device for the first time the back-cover is shut tight its a pretty snug fit, again good to hold in the hand okay so here is the first power on
of the micromax a27 ninja you can see the ninja branding, we have skipped some steps and powered on the device lets go to the about screen and see what version of android it is running okay, so you can see that the phone is in-fact running android gingerbread 2.3.5 and it is the micromax a27 the touch seems pretty good as well. but later on as well as some hands-on pictures
